Analysis of the Influence of Entrepreneurial Project Outputs and Family Economic Conditions on the Entrepreneurial Behavior of State High School Students in Mojokerto Regency: Entrepreneurial Self-Confidence as a Mediation Variable

This study examines the influence of entrepreneurial project outputs and family economic conditions on entrepreneurial behavior, with entrepreneurial self-confidence as a mediating variable. Using a quantitative survey method, data were collected from 261 Grade XII students of State High Schools in Mojokerto and analyzed using SEM-PLS. The results show that entrepreneurial project outputs significantly and positively affect both entrepreneurial self-confidence and entrepreneurial behavior, while family economic conditions significantly influence entrepreneurial self-confidence. Entrepreneurial self-confidence also directly enhances entrepreneurial behavior and mediates the effects of project outputs and family economic conditions. However, family economic conditions were not found to directly influence entrepreneurial behavior. These findings highlight the importance of strengthening school-based entrepreneurship projects and family support to foster students’ entrepreneurial behavior in line with current industry needs.
