Abstract

The increasingly massive development of digital technology has indeed become a need for the Indonesian people today, including children and adolescents aged 0 to 19 years old who have used smartphones. Currently, the use of smartphones has been used since an early age, where based on We Are Social data around 31% of the Indonesian population has used smartphones from the age of 0 to 19 years with the average daily consumption of Indonesian people using the internet is for 7 hours and 38 minutes. The busyness of parents and the traffic jams on the roads that occur today make parents not have much time to be able to supervise and accompany their children in their daily activities. Therefore, the role of parents in supervising and spending time with children is a way to avoid children's dependence on smartphones.
