Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of the Asset Based Community-Driven Development (ABCD) approach in the development of a Smart Village based on local wisdom through collaboration between KKN Posko 83 IAIN Palopo and the DIGIDES platform in To'Pongo Village, Luwu. Using a descriptive qualitative case study method, data was obtained through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, focus group discussions, and documentation. The results show that the ABCD stages—Discovery, Dream, Design, Define, Destiny/Delivery, and Reflection—are effective in optimizing local assets, including natural resources, human resources, and socio-cultural assets. Collaboration with DIGIDES resulted in the development of a village website, social media, public service infographics, and digital educational videos that had an impact on increasing digital literacy, service transparency, and citizen participation. Despite infrastructure constraints and limited digital literacy, the integration of ABCD and digital technology has proven capable of building a participatory, inclusive, and sustainable Smart Village model.
