Developing Beginner Technician Skills through Network and PC Repair Activities in the Computer Laboratory

This community service activity aims to develop the skills of novice technicians through network and PC repair activities in partner school computer laboratories. Problems faced by partners include unstable network conditions, computers that do not function optimally, and limited technical skills of students in performing laboratory maintenance. The implementation method of the activity includes the stages of problem identification, planning, implementation of network and PC repairs, direct practical assistance, and evaluation of the results of the activity. This activity involves students as novice technicians who actively participate in each stage of the repair. The results of the activity show an increase in students' technical skills in operating system installation, network troubleshooting, and computer device maintenance. In addition, this activity also has an impact on increasing student independence and confidence in handling technical problems in the computer laboratory.
